Yogananda said that for each of us, there is one soul chosen by God to act as the instrument to bring us out of spiritual darkness and into the light. This individual is called the “satguru”, and this anecdote tells the story of one person meeting their “divine connection.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In 1978, Swami Kriyananda went on a national speaking tour
with a group of people from Ananda Village. At one point he
stopped in Santa Barbara, California, where another direct
disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda, Norman Paulsen, had
founded a community called Sunburst Farm. Bernard Cole, who
had been with Yogananda along with Swami and Norman,
happened to be staying at Norman's community at the time, and
the three of them came together one evening to share their
stories of Yogananda with the gathering.
Swami Kriyananda started things off by reading selections from
his autobiography, The Path, that dealt with his associations
with Bernard, Norman, and Yogananda. Norman then shared
his own recollections, similar to those he later published in his
book, Christ Consciousness. Then Bernard got up to speak.
(I was not present at this meeting. The story of what Bernard
said was related to me soon after by someone who had been
there. This account is what I recall of what I was told more than
twenty years ago, but it was such a striking story that I believe it
stayed fairly well in my memory.)
When Bernard stood up to speak, someone tried to hand him a
microphone. "I don't need that thing!" he declared, waving it
away. And, indeed, it seemed that, old as he was, his voice had
enough carrying power to reach pretty much everyone in the
crowd.
(Bernard was something of a curmudgeon, and he sometimes
expressed this attitude in the words he used. I tried to preserve
his exact words as much as possible to give you, the reader, the
sense of being there. But be prepared for some unexpected
turns of phrase.)
Bernard began by informing his audience that he was quite a
young man, in his teens, when he first met Paramhansa Yoga-
nanda. Bernard was living in L.A. at the time, and was old
enough to be employed. One of his friends at work happened to
be acting as a part-time secretary for Yogananda, or helping in
some other capacity at his church. At any rate, this woman
began to encourage Bernard to come and see Yogananda who,
at that time (and if memory serves), was giving personal inter-
views on Saturdays at Hollywood Church.
Bernard said: "She kept telling me, 'Oh, ya gotta meet Yoga-
nanda!'" But Bernard kept putting it off. It seems that he wasn’t
yet on the spiritual path, and his reaction was that going to see
some guru sounded kooky. Yet, as he put it, "she kept bugging
me about it.” Finally, Bernard relented and decided to give it a
try, "just to get her to stop!"
Well, when Bernard got to the Hollywood Church, he found that
he wasn't alone in his decision. In fact, he was at the end of a
long line of people who had all gotten there early in order to
have an interview with Yogananda.
Bernard ending up waiting the whole day and, to add insult to
injury, when his turn finally came, he was told that the interview
hours were over and Yogananda had decided not to see anyone
else!
Bernard was really upset. The next time he saw his friend he
told her what had happened, along with his intention never to
waste his time again so foolishly.
Yet she, bless her heart, continued to "bug" him. "She kept
sayin', 'ya gotta meet Yogananda! Ya gotta meet Yogananda!'
'All right!' I said, 'I'll go once more. But he better see me this
time!'"
Well, if you'll believe it, the same thing happened! Once again,
Bernard waited for hours at the end of a long line, and once
again, when he finally made it to the front of the line, the door
was shut in his face!
Bernard was, understandably, deeply unhappy about the course
of events. He renewed his determination never to set foot in
Hollywood Church again.
Still, his friend wouldn't relent, but insisted that he "give it one
more shot." In the end Bernard gave in and, feeling like a fool,
once more found himself waiting in a long line and staring at a
door that he was sure would never open for him.
And then—whether it was that he had come earlier this time, or
his karma had cleared enough to make it happen—the secretary
came to him and said, "Yogananda will see you now."
With a feeling of trepidation, Bernard walked through the door
and into the interview room, where he found Yogananda, with
his orange robe, long dark hair, lustrous eyes and gentle smile,
awaiting him.
From Bernard's description, Yogananda was seated and indi-
cated that Bernard should sit in a chair that was pulled up
across from him.
Bernard’s rough voice became a little softer as he described the
furnishings of the room. He recalled that the draperies were
hung in blue and gold. "Yogananda's colors," he called them—
and Swami Kriyananda and Norman, who were seated behind
Bernard on the platform with their eyes closed, smiled and
nodded as they recalled their own interviews and experiences
with Yogananda in that same room.
To start off the interview, Yogananda, perhaps sensing Ber-
nard's nervousness and wishing to put him at ease, asked him
some basic questions: Was Bernard still going to school? Did he
have a job, and if so, what did he do? Was he living with his
family? And so on.
After they had spoken together for a while and "the ice was
broken," there came a time when Yogananda stopped asking
questions and just sat there (either looking at Bernard or with
his eyes closed, I forget which).
And then, to Bernard's surprise, Yogananda scooted his chair
forward so that their knees were touching. He leaned toward
Bernard. "What's he gonna do?" he wondered. Bernard was
bewildered. Then, Yogananda reached out his hands and pulled
Bernard's head forward so that their foreheads were touching.
And all of Bernard's thoughts fled.
Bernard was flooded with bliss. At the same time, his forehead
was filled with a kaleidoscope of brilliant, swirling light. In that
light Bernard saw, like a newsreel, images of himself with Yoga-
nanda in one past life after another. Forward through the centur-
ies the two of them had traveled. And always, Yogananda had
been the guru, and Bernard, Yogananda's disciple. In one form
or another, in one country or another, wearing various garments
and going by different names, they had played the same roles in
the pageant of time.
Finally, Yogananda let go of Bernard's head and sat back in his
chair. He smiled at the young man, cocked his head to one side
and said, "Well?"
Bernard jumped to his feet. "That was great!" he blurted out.
"Gotta go!" And, quick as a flash, he sped out the door!
Bernard was young and inexperienced, and the vision Yoga-
nanda had given him, though powerful and deeply meaningful,
left him in a state of shock. It took Bernard time to recover, but
when he did, he realized that he had no other desire but to be
with Yogananda, and to plumb the depths of that inner bond his
vision had hinted at. And so, it was not long after this that
Bernard packed his things and moved up to Mt. Washington,
where Yogananda lived.
TM and Numerology
I once organised a talk going to be given by a clever guy named Peter Russell.
It was at the Kensington Town Hall in London and it was probably 1978 or 1979 somewhere round there. At the time Peter and I were proponents of transcendental meditation, the wonderful technique brought to the west by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
Peter had written the book The TM Technique which was far and away the best tome on the subject. However it was his further research into TM and Physics, well, Quantum Physics really, that was the subject of the talk. It was an interesting time for transcendental meditation. It was moving away from what was really a spiritual regeneration movement. Most of the people who had become a TM teacher like I had did so because they were interested in the underlying spiritual aspect of the teaching, the knowledge imparted from Maharishi which he had been given from his guru Brahmananda Saraswati. Guru Dev (see a video of Guru Dev here) had been the Shankaracharya of Jyotir Math in Northern India the last in a long line of Seats of Wisdom that originated with its founder Adi Shankara in the 12th Century. I loved all that stuff but the TM "movement" was changing to an organisation attracting scientists, business people, politicians and there was less emphasis on the Shankaracharya Tradition and the spiritual aspect.
In fact as time went by we were discouraged more and more from talking about the spiritual and encouraged to promote ourselves more as seriously conservative, short haired, three piece suited teaching professionals. I hated it. And it was the beginning of my departure from the organisation.
At the same time Peter Russell did some things that weren't considered to be toe-ing the party line. I can't remember what. Maybe mentioned the value of other meditation techniques (a big nono) or said something nice about another contemporary guru (not allowed either) but whatever it was the movement was beginning to ostracise him. Which was difficult because he was the guy who wrote the best selling book remember? 100s of people were learning TM every day and many of them would have been attracted through The TM Technique. Also he was a physicist and he was writing and talking on deep meaningful stuff that gave an insight into the underlying nature of Being.
In a word;
Consciousness.
It was the beginning of a very exciting time for me. Maharishi's desire was to merge the Eastern inward reflective understanding of one-ness with the Western outward scientific and reasoning discovery of the underlying all encompassing unified field theory. And Pete was one of the best people around to explain this newly developing merging of the two schools of thought.
Were the two traditions arriving at the same conclusion? That there is an unmanifest underlying field of all possibilities, from which all Creation arose? Maharishi was the first of the gurus to really talk about this. I invite readers to pursue the similarities between the teachings of Shankara and Quantum field theory. It a thrilling journey. Still unproven to western logical reasoning nevertheless the understanding that consciousness is the alpha and the omega is becoming closer and closer.
Anyone who has either learnt TM or read a book on it will have seen Maharishi's parallel between the human mind and a pond. Basically you imagine the mind as a pond. Impulses of thought (represented as bubbles in a pond) come up from the bottom and are cognised at the surface of the mind. The question is where do our thoughts come from? Its energy rising from "somewhere" which takes a direction into our conscious level and becomes manifest as a thought.
The principle of meditation is to turn the mind inward, to experience that manifest thought at an earlier and earlier and more refined stage. The mind likes this inward movement, its charming. Why? Because its the mind turning from small segmented divided busy thoughts to a more refined, quieter and more peaceful place. Simultaneously as the mind quietens during this process so does the body. The heart rate slows, brain waves change etc. BUT more than anything we experience deeper consciousness, or simply put, more pure consciousness. As we practise this each day experiencing this pure consciousness, we find that it will become more apparent in our daily life. We will be more conscious, more awake, more alert, brighter, happier.
Numerology is the understanding of the symbols that arise from the pure consciousness. Numerology gives us the keys, the fingerprints, the clues to what we are about in this life.
I am now busy in Europe but as time allows I am going to add more here about Consciousness.
In the meantime watch this video of Pete Russell by clicking HERE.
Its a superb explanation of consciousness.
Your child's number
I am asked a lot about children. Clients will write with questions, usually of concern, regarding their little one's dreaminess or temper tantrum. Lets have a look at each number in regard they are born. The Day Number will give you some idea of their characteristics.
In this first of three articles I take a look at the the 1, the 2 and the 3.
Born on the 1st, 10th, 19th or 28th of the month;
They can be dreamy, they often do better when left to their own devices so don't worry, they are not becoming withdrawn,they just need lots of freedom to explore their creative side. The other numbers and Life Path will indicate the direction that will take. As you will see in my book Numerology Made Simple, there is a strengthening of the 1's (Sun) characteristics the higher the day in the month. Any child born on the 1st has a certain naivety, the 10th some spirituality (indicated by the 0), the 19th an understanding of people in the world (9), and the 28th will be very strongly willed. Often though the 1 does not want to listen - and this can become more apparent in adult life - but there is one overriding reason for this; a cry for freedom.
Born on the 2nd, 11th, 20th or 29th of the month;
Although the 2 is often a little bright spark due to the Sun's influence there's sometimes a melancholy dreaminess here too because of the concurrently ruling Moon. They are 'feeling' children. Because the 2 is ruled dually by the Sun and the Moon you will notice a bit of to-ing and fro-ing between life of the party and quiet contemplation. 2's whole raison d'etre is partnership. At an early stage this is between the child and those around them but as time goes by it will manifest into understanding the relationship between themselves and to the world at large. 2's can become great business people, cultural ambassadors, or, for example, and again look at the other numbers, just a fantastic stay-at-home Mum. The 2 child must have a peaceful environment to grow up up. The 11 and 29 are Master Numbers (again see Numerology Made Simple) and so have old heads on young shoulders but all of the 2's need affection and to be shown that they are loved.
Born on the 3rd, 12th, 21st, 30th of the month.
Now we come to the Age of Reason. The 3 can become an engineer, scientist, architect or any path that is guided more by the left side of the brain. They are 'thinking' children. Does your child like to reason things out? Be logical with your instructions. Although thats important with all children, the 3 will need to understand the reasons for your actions too. Of the first three numbers this child really can dream big time. Their capacity for life is gained through thinking and creativity. Help them at an early age, bring them lego and building, art and drawing, colour and texture.
Numerology and Tennis
Image via Wikipedia
I am currently watching the Australian Open and was wondering why tennis scores the game 15 love, 30 love etc.
I have absolutely no idea.
However according to a little research it seems it could be based on medieval numerology.
"The number 60 was considered to be a "good" or "complete" number back then, in about the same way you'd consider 100 to be a nice round figure today. His blue and gray plaid tunic skims the ground as his black sandals gently sink in with each step. The sound of a generator firing up across the street breaks the peace and quiet of a Sunday morning.
Inside his dusty office, Hamid lays a prayer rug out on the floor, reaches for a bamboo stylus and a bottle of black ink and sits down. He dips the bamboo into the ink and begins to write on a loh, a rectangular piece of wood cut with a handle on one end and two sharp points on the other.
"Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord."
He continues writing out the Jinn chapter of the Koran, the section of the Muslim holy book that deals with invisible creatures known as jinn that in Western culture spawned the legend of the genie in a bottle. He sings verses aloud as he works his way down the wood.
But this is not only a religious exercise. Hamid is a faki, a uniquely African mixture of Islamic scholar and witch doctor. People seek his help on everything: curing a cough, for example, or predicting the future. Government employees are among his regulars, he says, especially when they're hoping for a promotion.
"There are among us some that are righteous and some the contrary."
The words mark the beginning of a 40-day treatment Hamid designed to help one of his patients who suffers from seizures. "They try to get treatment in Egypt, Sudan and Cameroon, and it doesn't work," Hamid says. "They come to me, and it works."
He puts down the loh and picks up a book, "Fire to Get Rid of the Devil," waving it in the air. He boasts of his success rate: "If you bring me a crazy person, I swear I will cure him. I've done it many times."
At 9:45 a.m., three cousins pass through a lace curtain that separates Hamid's office from the courtyard and sit down on a couch. Hamid, switching from Arabic to the tribal language of Zaghawa, asks them why they have come. Someone stole $200 from them, they say, and they want Hamid to help them get it back.
"We trust him because he believes in the Koran and will ask God," says Mahamat Khatir, 22, sitting between his two cousins. "The faki will get the money back."
As the young men tell their story, Hamid rummages through books and papers stacked on the floor and on a small table. A picture of the Great Mosque in Mecca hangs on the wall above him. About five minutes later, he finds what he is looking for -- prayer beads.
Hamid asks each guest his name -- Segei Dermai, Mahamat Khatir and Bakhit Haran. Then, based on a formula that assigns a number to each letter, he adds up the total value that their names represent. He slides the beads across the string, counting as he goes, "One, two, three . . ." Hamid asks for the names of their mothers and repeats the process.
"You can find out many things if you know someone's mother's name," he says, grinning widely.
Finally, the men offer the name of the person they suspect of stealing their money. Using the numbers associated with all of these names, Hamid says he can determine whether the accused is indeed the culprit. He pulls out another book, "Your Unknown Future," and flips to a page full of diagrams and numbers.
"It's all right here," he says, pointing to the formula that he says will help him determine the meaning of all the numbers and corresponding names.
The cousins drop $2 on the floor next to Hamid and stand up to leave. Hamid tells them to return the following day with a family elder. He is worried that if he arms the young men with the thief's identity, they will take revenge.
"I'm worried that the boys would kill him," Hamid says. The clock on the wall chimes a melody, 10 a.m.
Alone again, Hamid picks up another loh and begins to write, this time etching symbols interspersed with Arabic letters. He keeps their meaning to himself. "It's a secret," he says.
An hour and a half later, he has finished four of the lohs, front and back. He fetches some water from the courtyard and returns to his office. After a morning spent writing, he picks up one of the lohs and gently washes it clean, carefully directing the inky water into a blue bucket atop his prayer rug. The water, now a light gray, is the next step in his treatment for his patient.
"I will give him the water to bathe with," he says.
At noon, his work for the day is finished. Hamid covers the bucket of water and walks out of the office to rest before midday prayers.
Understanding the Tarot with Numerology: The Major Arcana
It is no coincidence that the 6th card of the major arcana is the image of the Lovers. The number 6 in numerology, signifying harmony and nurture, lends its meaning to the symbolic representation to the imagery of a love relationship.
If we follow the major arcana throughout all 22 cards, we see each number (with its numerological meaning) building upon itself, elevating its meaning to a higher octave of understanding.
The tarot starts off with the number 0, represented by the Fool.
It can be guessed that the Fool carries no weight, since he is an empty-handed/empty-minded wanderer about to start the journey. The journey does in fact start with a Fool, or at least, the foolish notion that there is more beyond this concrete world, represented by the minor arcana.
Even though the Fool is the 0 card, he still carries many of the meanings of number 1 in numerology. However, the actual 1 card, the Magician, more clearly defines the symbolic properties of the number 1. The Magician calls forth consciousness and action, self-confidence and determination.
In the major arcana, the numerical significance relates to the higher consciousness, therefore, number meanings refer to the essence, rather than the direct action.
The Magician captures the spirit of the number 1, instead of expressing it forthright, just as the second card in the major arcana, the Priestess, represents the feminine principle of intuitive knowledge.
The number 2 in numerology has come to mean balance and union, but those broad terms come from the all-encompassing feminine symbolism. The Priestess reveals the feminine energy of the Moon, another female symbol.
The third card in the major arcana, the Empress, is in sync with the numerological value of 3, being creativity and abundance. While odd numbers are generally associated with the male energies, and even with female, the origins of the number three comes from the idea of pregnancy, when you combine 1 (male) with 2 (female) you get 3 (child). But that idea can be translated to mean pregnant with ideas, or to produce something of greatness that will live on, past its creator.
The fourth card, the Emperor, symbolizes authority and rulership, which easily shares its meaning with the numerological significance of the 4, the builder.
An Emperor must build a nation, devise it’s systems and infrastructure, and most importantly, maintain that kingdom. But what is a kingdom except several different systems working in unison under one authority? That can be applied to the idea of a computer network or even a car.
The fifth card, the Hierophant, contains the symbolism of the law, tradition, and knowledge. Much like the 5 in numerology, which represents communication, the Hierophant was the great communicator in oral cultures, in which the symbolism was devised from. In more literary societies, where individuals could access knowledge through books rather than through a person in authority (like the Hierophant), communication and knowledge underwent a transformation, affecting its meaning.
As the major arcana progresses, the numerological meanings are significant not only in how they blend with each symbols meaning, but showing the origin of the numbers’ meaning in the field of numerology. Knowledge builds upon its foundation, and numerology in the west is ingrained within that foundation.
The Significance of Numbers in Chinese Numerology
Image via Wikipedia
The numerical systems of all cultures include significant symbolism behind each particular number. We understand our world through math, and numbers are integrated within all fields of life.
In the West, the number 1 symbolizes the Sun, the male, or the start of creation, while the number 2 symbolizes the female, balance, and duality. Those symbols transfer over to Western numerology, though slightly altered to fit the individual psyche. In China, the meaning behind numbers comes from how similar they sound to other words. If the number spoken aloud sounds like a positive word, such as prosperity, than that number is associated with a positive or auspicious meaning. But, if the number sounds like a negative word, it is considered unlucky or inauspicious. For example, it is well known that the number 4 in Chinese culture is remarkably unlucky. This is due to the fact that it sounds like the word for death.
The number 4 is generally disregarded; some buildings even omit the fourth floor. However, the number five, which sounds like the word “no”, can be either good or bad, depending on the context.
If the number 5 is added before the number 4, it equals “no death”, which transforms the meaning and its significance. Unlike Western numerology, in which numbers build upon themselves and therefore their meanings, in Chinese numerology the number 4 doubled, being 8, is not unlucky at all.
The sound of the word for 8 is similar to the word for prosperity and wealth. Most businesses try to incorporate this number into their address or phone number. Even beyond business, the number 8 is used for luck and fortune, as can be seen when Beijing hosted the 2008 Olympics. The starting ceremony started 8: 08 pm on 08/08/2008.
The number 7 has many meanings in Chinese culture. For relationships, it is lucky, since it means togetherness. However, the seventh month is regarded as ghost month, in which the spirits of the dead come back to visit the living. Again, the idea of togetherness is at play, though what is being connected is the physical world with the spiritual world. Particularly on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when the gates between heaven and hell are opened, Buddhists and Taoists pay homage to the dead and try to right their wrongs. In one dialect, a word can have a certain meaning that differs from a neighboring dialect. As such, there is no real unification of numerological meanings within the entire Chinese culture. However, most of the meanings span the linguistic bridge.
Life Path Number and Career Part 1
Have you ever worked a part time job as a teenager, doing something completely tedious and boring, and said to yourself, “this isn’t where I belong?” You may not have known what it was you wanted to be yet, but you knew with every fiber of your being that this was not it. As an adult, when you sit down at work, do you still get that same feeling? They say that there’s a role each one of us was born to play, one where our natural gifts and energy become illuminated when we engage in the right activity. It is where we find success and the sense that we are doing what we were meant to do. That role can be calculated with numerology.
The life path number is one of the most significant numbers in a numerology report, as it explains much of your personality, particularly career-wise. Do you find yourself most happy when you are in a humanitarian position, helping others? Your life path number is probably a 6 or a 9. Do you prefer to lead, organizing all the pieces of a project, seeing the bigger picture? You may have a life path number of 1 or 8. A life path number 3 would thrive on a constantly ringing multi-line phone system, while a seven would detest it. A two truly shines in a team, while the 1 would be resistant to most ideas that did not follow their vision.
While the numbers give a general description of where you find purpose, it’s the end result of that job that really matters. A 6 can find joy in being any type of public servant, from street cleaner to judge, because it’s the value of what’s produced from their role that speaks to them. A 7 can excel at being a psychologist or a bartender, as long as their role caters to understanding the needs of others. A 4 can engineer community water systems or be a mechanic, as long as the job contains an organized, multilevel system they can work with. Prestige comes from knowing that you are fulfilling your true role, and the satisfaction of that trumps the social recognition of a high-paying job.
Not only is the life path number incredibly important in terms of what you feel connected to and where you shine, it is also incredibly easy to calculate. To find your life path number, you simply add up all the digits in your birthday. For example, Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929. In order to find his life path number, add all the digits in the birth date.
01/15/1929 becomes 1 + 1 + 5 + 1 + 9 + 2 + 9, which equals 28. Reduce that number, and Martin Luther King Jr.’s life path number reveals a 1.
The personality of life path number 1 is innovative and inspired. They demand freedom to pursue their own path in life, and work best in leadership roles. They are great at starting new projects, especially those that extend to the larger unit, whether it be their family, community, or country. As a life path number 1, Martin Luther King Jr. exemplified these traits. His insistence on freedom led to a lifelong mission for civil rights. As a leader and initiator, he co-founded the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and served as its first president. At their best, those with a life path number 1 show the rest of us what it means to be noble. Any line of work that requires a strong sense of integrity and the ability to bear the brunt of responsibility for the larger community (Martin Luther King, Jr. was killed for his work) is where a 1 really shines.
After you have figured out your life path number, continue reading part two of
Life Path Number and Career to find out what type of job brings out your best attributes.
Life Path Number and Career Part 2
Now that you know how to determine your life path number, it’s time to figure out what that means and how you can apply it to finding your ideal job. To review, the life path number is the reduced sum of all the digits of your birthday. If you were born on April 9, 1979, you would add 4 + 9 + 1 + 9 + 7 + 9, which equals 39. 3 + 9 equals 12. That number still needs to be reduced until it is a single digit. 1 + 2 equals 3. Therefore, someone born on April 9, 1979 has a life path number of 3. Below are the descriptions for the different life path numbers.
Life Path Number 1: The Leader. Those with a life path number of 1 are determined, ambitious, and innovative. They combine creativity with responsibility and constantly pave new paths for others to follow. The 1’s are competitive and like the opportunity to prove themselves. If they do not develop their best traits, they can be selfish, stubborn, and rebellious. The best careers for life path number 1’s would be any field where courage and leadership is needed, such as politics, the military, sports, or business.
Life Path Number 2: The Peacemaker. Life path number 2’s bring balance, harmony, and diplomacy to any situation. They are sensitive and intuitive, able to understand different sides of the coin, making them good mediators. As such, life path number 2’s are good in social services, government, especially the judiciary branch, and the medical field.
Life Path Number 3: The Entertainer. Creative and entertaining, life path number 3’s love to put on a show. They can win the attention of a crowd and delight with their antics. The 3’s work best in any field catering to entertainment, such as acting, sports, or public speaking.
Life Path Number 4: The Builder. The life path number 4’s of this world were made to create. They have a mind for structuring, building, and fixing things, whether it’s a landscape or a business model. 4’s can see a project from inception to the finish line with their persistence and hard work. Any job that requires careful planning with a fixed and steady outcome, such as construction, research and development, or computer technology is ideal.
Life Path Number 5: The Freedom Seeker. Those born with a life path number of 5 are constantly looking for freedom, be it freedom of thought, expression, communication, or simply breaking out of routine. Since they spend so much of their time searching, they are naturally gifted communicators, able to discuss any topic. The best jobs for life path number 5’s would be in writing and publishing, activists, or a variety of freelance type work that gives them intellectual mobility.
Life Path Number 6: The Nurturer. The life path number 6 personality is warm and soothing, offering security and comfort to those around them. They are good at making things attractive, from themselves to their surroundings. Teaching, arts and crafts, and nursing are suitable occupations for life path number 6.
Life Path Number 7: The Philosopher. Though not as communicative as a 3 or 5, life path number 7’s are deep thinkers with active minds, looking beneath the surface for answers. They work best alone, and need plenty of personal time for meditation and analysis. They make excellent scientists, psychologists, researchers, or religious teachers.
Life Path Number 8: The Manager. Much like life path number 4, those born with a life path number 8 are drawn to structures; however, they are leaders rather than builders. Life path number 8’s seek power and glory, making them competitive and edgy. They are most successful in large institutions, such as government, the military, and big corporations.
Life Path Number 9: The Humanitarian. Life path number 9 denotes a life in which service and charity are of the utmost importance. They have compassion and integrity, which bestows honor upon them. They excel as judges, advocates of the betterment of society, social services, or any field that deals with improving the world.
Transition of Numerology from East to West
I once had a friend who used to say, “math isn’t everything, but everything is math”. He was a musician, who understood the manifestation of numbers on a page into the harmonious composition of the universe. Perhaps he belonged to the church of Pythagoreanism, founded by the Greek philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras, inventor of the Pythagorean theorem, a familiar term to every student of basic geometry.
Pythagoras understood the universal language of numbers, both on the material and spiritual planes. He spent a great deal of his youth learning the wisdom of eastern cultures. Though he is credited as the Father of Numerology in the West, there are older numerological systems that predate him. In fact, it is probable that he learned these systems, modified them, and began teaching his version in Greece to his followers. The oldest system comes from the Chaldeans of Babylon.
The Chaldeans developed and practiced many sciences that linked the vibrations of the universe to the happenings on Earth. To them, the universe was a singular symphony, where every note mattered and each sound played off the others, some in a harmonious way, others off-key. All of this could be understood through numbers, as the Chaldeans assigned a different numerological value to each sound or vibration. Due to the cultural perspective of the time, all knowledge was sacred and mystical because most of it came by observing the heavens.
That esotericism distinguishes Chaldean numerology from Pythagorean numerology. For the Chaldeans, the number 9 was sacred, and was left out of the computational system. Western numerology acknowledges the spiritual side of 9, calling it the number of the humanitarian or crusader. The 9 energy is aligned with the traits of Jesus Christ. It is a powerful number, the number of perfection and completion. Perhaps, the Chaldeans knew that man could never create something that vibrated on such an energy level, so it was useless to use for their own purposes.
Letter values are different as well, as each letter’s sound aligns with a unique vibration number for the Chaldeans, while the numbers are simply linear in Western numerology.
A major difference between the two is the use of double-digit numbers. Western numerology reduces all figures down to a single digit, simplifying the system. Of course, there are Master numbers and Karmic numbers in the Pythagorean system, but those are relatively few. The use of double-digits makes Chaldean numerology harder to understand for many students, as there are more meanings and interpretations to be examined. However, the basic numbers of 1 through 8 are generally similar in their interpretation in both numerological systems.
While there may be discrepancies between the two systems, the nature of the science is the same. Numerology is founded on the belief that numbers embody both physical and spiritual properties, which can be used to benefit the student. Understanding how those properties interact teaches the student how to engage and interact in the melody of the universe, rather than just observe and listen.
Related articles by Zemanta
In defense of pythagoras (slideshare.net)
The Struggle for Harmony in Haiti
<img src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/ac/View_of_Haitian_Landscape_hispaniola.jpg/300px-View_of_Haitian_Landscape_hispaniola.jpg" alt="Departement du Sud. It is ironic that the place that vibrates the energy of a 5 (freedom) fostered a slave culture for hundreds of years. But here’s the catch- Haiti is the only nation to gain independence from a slave revolt. Obviously, freedom was the underlying issue for Hispaniola. On January 1, 1804, the province became independent, changed the name to Haiti and adopted the motto “Strength through Unity”. Haiti’s independence date is a 6 (1+1+1+8+0+4), the number of community, harmony and peace. The significance of the 1 energy, totaling half the calculation, shows the urge for a new beginning. By changing the name to Haiti, the nation changed its energy from a 5 to a 2, number of diplomacy and brotherhood, keeping in line with its motto.
But the history of Haiti and the fight for freedom has been challenging. Its 2 energy has been a source for conflict and upheaval. 2 can also be two opposing forces. When the U.S. occupied the area, there was open hostility between the Haitians and the Americans. Even after the U.S. left the country, problems with the neighboring Dominican Republic caused the Parsley Massacre in which 10 to 20 thousand Haitians were killed.
In addition to the problems that can be created when the 2 energy is caught in a bad relationship, Haiti is situated on a latitude and longitude of 19 degrees 00’ and 72 degrees and 25’, which equals 8. The 8 energy, when manifested properly, creates the entrepreneur, one who can create a material infrastructure. This has always been a challenge to Haiti. In 1957, Francois Duvalier, aka Papa Doc, became president. He was born April 14, 1907 (4+1+4+1+9+0+7), the energy of an 8. He used this 8 energy in a negative way, creating the authoritative, fear-infested culture. Haiti, operating on that 2 energy, needs balance. The opposing force to the regime, carried on by Papa Doc’s son, revolted. In 1986, the Duvalier family lost control due to internal opposition and outside influence. 1986 again brings Haiti back to the 6 energy, the search for harmony and peace.
Political turmoil is not the only hardship Haiti has battled. On January 12, 2010, a massive 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit the nation, leaving thousands dead and many more dying due to the lack of medical treatment, food and supplies.
2010 is a 3 year - a year of communication and of philanthropy. The energy of 3 is charitable and loving. There have been and will be mass efforts from around the world to help out. However, one characteristic of 3 is living in the moment. Efforts can be wasted if there isn’t any follow-through or plans. However, the date of the earthquake equals 7 (1+1+2+2+0+1+0), the number of spiritual self-improvement. It is likely that those who feel the need to contribute help to Haiti are doing so out of a spiritual need, which will offer more stability for sustained efforts.
This current 3 year will bring about the mass effort of finding aid and relief, sustaining what remained, and overcoming the profound loss of life. Next year, 2011 is a universal 4 year. The 4 is a builder, detail-oriented and organized. In 2011, Haiti will rebuild what was lost, from the houses and buildings to the political and social infrastructure.
Related articles by Zemanta
Doing Science in the Past (scientificamerican.com)
Connecting with the Energy of your Surroundings
Ever enter a building or walked down a street that gave you a funny vibe, even though there was nothing out of the ordinary about it? Likewise, have you ever travelled somewhere and felt at naturally at home, even though it was the first time you’ve been there? Perhaps there are countries in the world that you have only seen in pictures, but feel some karmic pull towards. The science of numerology maintains that there are numerical vibrations in everything, and your personal numbers interact with the energy of everything you come into contact with, including your home address or vacation spot.
For example, take the number of the house you grew up in and compare that vibration to the atmosphere of your childhood home. Did you live in a house that was filled with harmony and love, filled with family members whose whole life seemed to revolve around making the home the warmest possible environment for whoever entered? Does the house add up to a 6? Or was that house chaotic, subject to constant renovations, people moving in and out, and ideas flowing freely around? That’s a 5 energy house.
Now compare your life path number with the number of your childhood home. Let’s say you are a 5 living in a 6 house. For freedom loving 5’s, such stability may be boring. They may crave the energy of a 1 house, where freshness and innovation thrive. The 6 home would be extremely comfortable to a 2 person, who needs that peaceful structure and close relationships.
Let’s examine one of the United States most notable homes. Situated on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington D.C. 20500, the White House has been the central location for the country’s first families. Just looking at those numbers, the 1600 gives us as 7, as does the zip code. 7 is an important number for the vibration of this house, being a number of spirituality, intuitiveness, and constant self-improvement. These themes are developed in the Constitution and serve as an underlying principal towards how the country is governed. Looking at the founding fathers and the history of the U.S., there is much mystery surrounding the spirituality of the country. Even with the separation of Church and state, the theme of religion is evident in the early settlers and the mention of God on the currency.
7 is also the number of mystery, secrets and intrigue. It is no wonder that top-secret organizations work around this epicenter or that there is a fascinating pull towards discovery the secrets hidden within the secrets of the capital. There have been many Hollywood movies and best-selling books about the mysteries of the country, such as Dan Brown’s “The Lost Symbol”, or Disney’s “National Treasure” movies.
In the address 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, the 1 and the 6 stand out, reinforced by the double zeros that add strength to the vibration. The 1 sends a strong message of new beginnings and leadership. This is the country that most immigrants come to for a new start. The 6 represents community and harmony, coming together for a peaceful unity. As the melting pot of the world, this is the goal of the country.
If you were to plan a trip to the nations capital, check out how compatible your numbers are with the 7, 1, and 6. Those making a patriotic visit would connect with the 6 energy. Those interested in seeing not only how America was started, but also the new and innovative developments that are always at the forefront will connect with the 1. For those who are intrigued with the interconnectedness and mystery of the capital and its history, the overwhelming 7 energy will not disappoint.
Related articles by Zemanta
Solarize the White House (energybulletin.net)
Links Between Numerology and Astrology
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H5LDT5NQr_M/S2YzjvpUulI/AAAAAAAAAG8/K0-4smRUc2k/s200/clock.bmp" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5433086689647311442" />
The ancient sciences of numerology and astrology go hand in hand, as both believed that the energy created by the movement of the planets affected all matters on earth. Both fields assign certain properties to these forces, which have been broken down into archetypes for our own understanding. Though the two share certain universal meanings, such as the 1 as the symbol of ego, beginnings, and creation, some aspects do not line up.
One of first distinctions to be made between Western numerology and astrology is the use of primary forces. Numerology breaks down the different vibrations into 9 distinct forces, with certain double-digit numbers that enhance the general meaning of it’s primary number. In astrology, there are 10 planets (the sun and the moon, though luminaries, make up two of those planets, as they exert a very significant force on an individual. In addition, there are the remaining 8 planets, while the earth is used to calculate the rising sign). There are also 12 houses of the zodiac, each containing 30 degrees to complete the circle. The houses are concerned with different elements of life, such as the physical self (1st house), money and values (2nd house), communication (3rd house), home and family (4th house), etc. The planets deal with the type of energy that colors how a person will engage with the different aspect of life, determined by the house the planet is in.
Here we have some differences. The number 2 is linked to the universal symbol of the feminine, and deals with partnerships and diplomacy in numerology. In astrology, the numerological meaning of two is found in the fourth house, aligned with the moon and the sign of cancer. But there are some connections. The second house, aligned with the energy of Taurus, is ruled by Venus and is the first feminine house in the zodiac. Venus, as one of the archetypes of the female principal, radiates some of that energy that is found in the numerological 2 meaning.
Yet, astrology and numerology can work together and the closer you look, the more you find similar energy. For example, the rising sign as mentioned before, accounts for the energy you send out to the world upon first meeting, or at face value. With people who know you, they can see your sun energy (sun sign), in how you actively engage in life, your emotional energy (moon sign), which is how you react to situations, your communication sign (where Mercury is located), to understand how you communicate, etc. The rising sign deals with how you present yourself at the introduction. It can be likened to the first letter of your name. The first syllable you communicate during an introduction is the first sound of your name. That has an energy to it, which is interacting with the person on the receiving end. For example, the name Adam presents a strong 1 energy. He will present himself as a starter, an innovator, one who can lead, even if that isn’t his intention. Similarly, a woman named Eve will present the 5 energy, energy of change, ideas, and freedom. Connecting these two energies, the story of creation in the Bible takes on another layer of meaning.
Astrology uses planets, houses, and signs, among others to represent the energies of the universe. Numerology classifies the energies in numbers. Both sciences were developed during a time where all knowledge and science was connected and fed off each other. Though the two fields are distinct in themselves today, using them together can aid significantly in your quest for self-discovery.
Briefly Beckham
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 132px; height: 200px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_H5LDT5NQr_M/SeWnF_MUmaI/AAAAAAAAAF0/FMrv7nKmBcQ/s200/DavidBeckham.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5324845855739779490" />
David Beckham was born May 2nd 1975 and this means his ruling planets are the Sun and the Moon. Hence the Sun’s ability to shine, to look good, to make people around feel good, but conversely if 2 is lonely the co-ruler Moon has the ability to be a little sneaky and underhand if the occasion arises. The first choice of the Sun is outward and bright but with the advent of darkness (low spirits) the Moon will be tempted by shadowy action. While the 1 indicates newness, originality and often loneliness the 2 indicates looking out to the world. Think of a baby striving to relate to the enbvironment and the faces they see there. All 2's still have some of the 1’s naivety about them and as such it is extremely important for them to find the ideal partner. In Beckham's case Victoria has clearly been an integral part of his development as a worldwide phenomenon. She was born April 17th 1974 a numberscope full of money, planning, beauty and art. Actually that sentence is perfect for her. A Day Vibration 8 (the 17th) adding to a Day Vibration 2 (the 2nd) giving us a combined 10 which indicates a partnership that leads. They certainly do that! Positively the Moon has given David the ability to remerge, reborn in a new style again and again and the Sun gave Beckham his charm, his ability to lead the field and in doing so gain great recognition in society. It’s also made him difficult to dislike.
The interesting aspect is in how his and her numbers combined have given us something greater than the sum and therein lies their phenomenon. I talk about this in my book Numerology Made Simple.
Lets talk about the One in numerology
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H5LDT5NQr_M/SdEJ-XMYZNI/AAAAAAAAAD8/iW3lEjIJQec/s200/Iris+c.bmp.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319043601883751634" />
In the beginning was the Word….. Seen a newly born baby lately? Helpless and dependent, they seem to be thinking “where am I?”. “One minute I’m in a lovely warm quiet dark place with an endless supply of food and the next thing whammo Im being squeezed and painfully pulled out into a cold, cold place where its so light and bright I can hardly open my eyes. If that’s not enough, someone slapped me too!”
Lyall Watson tells a great story of a time when he talked to a village chief about death. Watson was asking about their beliefs regarding the great mystery but the chief replied that you may think death is painful but being born was much more so.
So the 1 is now in the world and before long will be striking out to find his/her path. Its kind of like a person who has just got off the bus alone in a mid-western US town with no job nor money but with luck a couple of friendly strangers will be there to help them out. The 1 is great at arriving somewhere alone and even better at drawing others into their circle to help. They can be very brave and also quick witted, humorous but in the negative they can be sneaky, deceptive, and disloyal. Love or hate them…at the end of the day you can analyse them all you want but they will already be moving on to something else. By that very essence they cannot bear routine. Of course not, because everything is new and they need to explore EVERY-thing. They may find what they are looking for but there is also a good chance they won’t. And so they will move on again. That desire for freedom is actually a trait that the other numbers admire because without that first impulse into life they themselves wouldn’t have become manifest.
There would never be a 9 if there hadn’t been a 1.
The path of life is in the clarity of your awareness
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 156px; height: 180px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_H5LDT5NQr_M/Sb8Bw0FdAUI/AAAAAAAAAD0/9LkAQbDQ_0s/s200/Adi%2520Shankara.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5313968023447339330" />
Shankara. It would be difficult to describe in western terms his importance to India and Hinduism. One of Shankara’s disciples was Trotakacharya. He wasn’t known for his sophistication, in fact the other three favourite disciples considered him a little simple. But no one denied his devotion to Shankara. His one-pointedness on his Master whom he considered God’s current supreme incarnation was of legend. While other disciples listened to their Master’s treatises and learnt to recite sublime passages from the Vedas by rote, Trotakarya swept the courtyard in utter devotion; while they were motionless in meditation, he was performing menial tasks in utter devotion. One day after many years the Master and his disciples were at the river bathing while Trotaka was still at the ashram cleaning. Eventually he wandered down to the river to join them and Sankara turned to hear his disciple singing a song only sung by the enlightened.
He had attained the goal of permanently experiencing the transcendent light of God while the other disciples were still held aloft by the intellect. They reasoned God’s existence but through total surrender, he experienced it.
So never think you are ahead of the game. Or behind. Just act according to you. The numbers will tell you the path that you are ideally suited to take for your own sake, best suited for your evolution.
We see the same things and yet we view them completely differently. Some of us are born anxious, happy, rich, healthy, some live long lives, some minutes, some blind, with limbs, without, loving households, brutal fathers, in a mud hut in Malawi, a Manhattan skyscraper, an Italian palazzo, a bungalow in Brisbane. And there could be no reasoning for this. Absolutely none. As random as being born a single cell amoeba or a Nobel prize winning physicist. Or is there some reasoning to it all. At a certain point in life many people begin to wonder if all that is seen is all there ever could be. Some people don’t think about it at all.
I would suggest that having found yourself reading this blog you may be in the camp that wonders.
An unusual thought ...
Did you know?
111,111,111 x 111,111,111 = 12,345,678,987,654,321
Don't you love it?
"Some are born great … some have greatness thrust upon them"
Step forward Barack Obama. The world in its current transition is about to experience a glaring example of one of the signposts to a new age. Most people would have to be truthful and say they never saw this coming so soon in time - a Black President of the USA? Are you kidding me? Yet here we are.
There have actually been a few notable political changes in the world recently. Blair and Brown in the United Kingdom, Howard and Rudd in Australia, Putin and Medvedev in Russia, even little ol' New Zealand is about to undergo a political change with John Key set to replace nine year incumbent PM Helen Clark.
But the most remarkable change for decades is occurring right now in the USA.
Barack Obama was born on the 4th August 1961. For those of you who have read my book Numerology Made Simple you will understand what I am about to do. Lets have a look at this;
4 8/Leo 17/(=8) 29/(=11)/(=2)
What do you see?
Building of plans, karma, understanding of materialism in relation to spirituality, partnership and including that 29/11 master number which insists the owner walks a narrow path to avert disaster. Barack is also at this time in a 2 cycle and we have to ask could relationship and partnership be more important than right now?
Bill Clinton important numbers were 19/(=10)/(=1) 8/Leo 20/(=2) and finally the same Lifepath number as Barack Obama 29/(=11)/(=2).
You are right, there are some similarities. But the differences are striking too. Clinton's Day Number indicating independent decision making, and then Leo and with a Life Path indicating relationship understanding and interestingly the "narrow path" I mentioned above. Boy, did he get slapped over that part of his life. Barack's Day Number indicating partnership and relationship, Leo also, but then the same Life Path. So relating to those around him and especially Building Plans for the the relationship between the USA and the rest of the World, something that has taken a nosedive under Bush.
There is a lot more in here and it is fascinating. We will have to talk again later about Barack's relationship to the birthday of the USA 4th July 1776.
Financial turmoil
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 180px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_H5LDT5NQr_M/SdG7vE564rI/AAAAAAAAAEE/r29PlOspnkk/s200/_354910_jobs.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319239052346188466" />
"May you live in interesting times."
No doubt we are in for a rollercoaster ride that unfortunately has the cart heading down more than up - at least for quite some time. Numerologically we have definitely had some signs of this financial turmoil coming.
October 2008. For a start lets look at the 2. Ruled by Sun and Moon, thus open, bright and breezy alternating with subtle, mysterious and secretive. Its a number indicating relationship and partnership. The number 8. Ruled by Saturn. The two circles are a giveaway of the inherent karmic symbolism. Two circles indicating heaven and earth and the old phrase "as above so below". And what is between the 2 and the 8? Two more circles. Finally all added together they make the number 10. This number is a 1 indicating a new beginning, uniqueness and also there can be naivety. Finally the month vibration adds to the uniqueness of the situation. October which is another 10.
Ok my book would make this easy for you but meditate/ruminate on what we have seen; karma, uniqueness, new beginnings, alternate brightness and subtlety, hot and cold, light and dark. 2008 especially September(the 9 indicating an end of a cycle) and October is a time of unveiling of secrets, revelationary Truth, those that have taken the wrong paths being found out and punished (karma). BUT its a cleansing. Just like in our own individual lives. We come to the end of a cycle and cleanse and then we can plan and prepare for something better, something more meaningful and some thing which will help us to evolve. Unfortunately most people go through the various cycles in their lives and don't realise it. They didn't see that it was a good moment to throw out the old and to take a new direction. So for example they stay in that job when a new career can be sought at the right time. Those feelings that come up in all of us when we have frustration in our present circumstances. If we are aware of our numbers we can understand that a cycle has ended and we can begin to plan a new direction. Read Numerology Made Simple and you will find out how easy it is to predict these changes in your life, these cycles that end the old habits and renew us. We have to be aware of them otherwise we stay in the same old routines and dont grow.
Know anyone like that?
Long Island College Hospital
25th September 2008.
Iris arrived triumphantly today. My daughter gave birth to this 7lb 3oz bundle of joy at precisely 10.34pm at Long Island College Hospital, New York and everyone connected is boundlessly happy at this triumph.
Naturally my family asked me the numerological implcations. For some months I had been musing the ninth month, the year 2008 and Libra the Sun Sign as it was fairly likely she would be born during this predicted time but Iris had yet to decide the exact day she would make an appearance.
In my book Numerology Made Simple I outline the importance of five aspects to the numberscope; day, month, year, life path and Sun Sign. These are all you need to form a remarkable insight into the characteristics and tendencies of the person. Lets have some fun now and I'll show you what I mean.
First and foremost I lay great importance on the Day Vibration, after all it is constant and daily. Iris' day is 7. Next the Month Vibration which is 9 and I also like to add the Sun Sign here which is Libra. The Year Vibration is a 1 and the Life Path is an 8. Lets look at the keywords for each of these numbers and try to get a feeling for the various vibrational energies. Psychological Understanding, Arts and Humanity, Balance, Independence, and lastly Karma and the Understanding of Materialism.
My book would help the reader to delve deeper here but you will see now that we can start to get a feel for this person quite quickly. The main influence suggests a psychologist, not necessarily in that occupation but definitely a person who whats to know why Humanity thinks in the way it does, how she can create balance and insight for herself and for others, and further there is a very important link to karma; understanding how it works and how does materialism fit into her world. This mixture of the deeper thinking side and the worldly material side is extremely interesting. What occupation can you see this person having in life? Mediator? Relationship Counsellor? Teacher of Humanities? Numerologist/Astrologer? What do you think? I instinctively feel that Law will feature heavily in Iris' career path. Do you see why? Read my book and you will be surprised how much you can figure out in a methodical and simple manner.
What is this number stuff?
Numerology can be fun, entertaining, and once you have mastered your own understanding, it will be deeply revealing. I learnt all about Numerology years ago (from about 1993) when I met a really interesting soul who had been giving readings for years and years. Fascinated with the reading he gave me I pursued the knowledge intently. What I discovered was extremely interesting. I had for many years studied meditation and had been a teacher and counsellor. My personal numerological numbers indicate that I am interested in both the esoteric and also logical, scientific, rational argument. The two are not diametrically opposed.
The numerological process is quite mechanical and it is validated through repeatable and logical steps. Very left brain. After learning the processes for discovering the inherent tendencies of a numerological subject we begin to incorporate the right brains ability to "see" the gaps. By repeated readings you begin to understand hidden and deeper meanings. So the process is simple but the really good numerologist is the person that reads between the lines. Actually we are all capable of this but its just whether it interests us enough to do it.
After I had given countless readings in four different countries and after gaining an insight into the mechanics of the numerological process I decided to put pen to paper and show others how to do the same thing. My easily downloaded 80 page e-book is worth much more than the price I set to cover costs. The reason I wrote it is because of all the overly complicated numerology books and sites I have come across that make the process look like something out of Schrodinger's equations on quantum physics. It doesnt need to be so folks. Go to http://www.numerologymadesimple.com/buy_numerology_book.htm and download the book. You will see what I mean. Its fun.
